Whether you are in town visiting or a local resident looking to explore the city you call home, we put together a list of activities for a fun way to spend a day in Cleveland.

  • Start the day off browsing the historic West Side Market.

Since its opening in 1912, the West Side Market has been a proud staple of the Ohio City neighborhood. In close proximity to downtown and surrounding neighborhoods, the West Side Market is a perfect stop on a day of exploring Cleveland. Click here for market details

  • Grab brunch at one of the amazing restaurants Ohio City has to offer.

Whether you are in the mood for chicken and waffles at Heck's Cafe or a gourmet omelet from Le Petit Triangle, there is a wide variety of options within walking distance of the West Side Market. Click here for a list of restaurants in Ohio City.

  • Go for a walk at one of Cleveland's many beautiful parks.

Whether you venture to the newly completed Wendy Park Bridge and Whiskey Island Trail or the Lakefront Nature Preserve, you will be able to enjoy beautiful views of both the city skyline and Lake Erie.

  • Hop on I-90E for a short drive and head to the newly reopened Rockefeller Greenhouse off of MLK Jr. Boulevard.

After a beautiful walk along one of Cleveland's many trails, the Rockefeller Greenhouse is an excellent next stop.

Initially, the Greenhouse was used only to grow plants for landscaping City Parks and Gardens. While City beautification is still a  major goal, the Greenhouse and grounds have evolved into a free admission botanical garden with specialty plant collections, seasonal floral displays, outdoor classrooms, and theme gardens. • Finish off your day with dinner at one of the incredible restaurants located in the St. Clair-Superior neighborhood.

Located just east of downtown Cleveland and in close proximity to the Rockefeller Greenhouse, the St. Clair-Superior neighborhood features a wide variety of restaurants with cuisines including Thai, Chinese, Vietnamese, and Ethiopian. Click here for a list of restaurants!

  • Watch a sunset at one of Cleveland's beautiful lakefront piers.
